4-part webinar series: 2026 EUDR Winter School

Note: This webinar is based on the original CSRD and ESRS. Following the release of the Omnibus proposal on February 26, some information may no longer be accurate. We are currently reviewing and updating this webinar to reflect the latest regulatory developments. In the meantime, we recommend reading our Omnibus deep-dive for up-to-date insights on reporting requirements.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) deadline of 30 December 2026 is now months away. Many compliance teams are still working out what their obligations actually look like in practice. To help cut through the complexity, Coolset's sustainability researchers are hosting four free, live 45-minute sessions this summer, walking through the core compliance steps one by one.

Oct 14 , 11:00 CEST - Session 1: Recap on EUDR and mapping your supply chain

Based on the latest 2026 guidance and regulatory developments, this session covers a short intro into EUDR, and how to map your supply chain and understand what data you need to collect, with a real-world case study from our research team.

  • An introduction to EUDR: who does it apply to, and what are the obligations for the different roles in the supply chain
  • How to identify which commodities and products fall in scope and trace them to country of origin
  • A process to get from 0 to compliance in two months
Oct 21 , 11:00 CEST - Session 2: Structuring your EUDR data collection

This session walks through how to structure your data collection in practice, covering what the regulation expects and how new operator categories affect your position in the supply chain, with a case study from our research team.

  • What data you need to collect: geolocation coordinates, production dates, legality evidence and supplier information
  • How your sourcing countries, including their risk classification, affect the level of due diligence required
  • What a complete, defensible evidence bundle look like
Oct 28, 11:00 CET - Session 3: Risk assessments and mitigation

With enforcement two months away, this session focuses on carrying out the risk assessment and risk mitigation, including a case study walkthrough from our research team.

  • How to assess deforestation and legality risk by sourcing country, supplier and product
  • What mitigation looks like in practice, and when you can proceed without a formal risk assessment
  • How downstream operators and small and micro primary operators fit into the picture, and what that means for your obligations
Nov 4, 11:00 CET - Session 4: Submitting DDS and day-to-day compliance

In this closing session, Coolset's sustainability researchers dive into the last step towards compliance recap the key takeaways before the December 30 deadline.

  • What a complete due diligence statement looks like under the amended regulation and what it must include
  • Common bottlenecks including geolocation data, supplier gaps and statement timing, and how to resolve them before enforcement begins
  • How to structure your compliance program for the months ahead, and what to prioritize first
