3-part webinar series: PPWR Spring School 2026

Note: This webinar is based on the original CSRD and ESRS. Following the release of the Omnibus proposal on February 26, some information may no longer be accurate. We are currently reviewing and updating this webinar to reflect the latest regulatory developments. In the meantime, we recommend reading our Omnibus deep-dive for up-to-date insights on reporting requirements.

Regulation (EU) 2025/40, better known as PPWR, sets out mandatory requirements across technical documentation and conformity assessments, affecting virtually every company that produces or sells packaged goods in Europe. To help compliance teams cut through the complexity, Coolset's sustainability researchers are hosting three free, live 45-minute sessions this spring, covering the core requirements step by step, with Q&A built into each.

Session 1: Technical documentation under PPWR

21 May 2026, 11:00 CEST

This session covers how to structure your setup and collect the data PPWR actually requires.

  • How to define your unit of compliance and scope your packaging portfolio
  • What data you need to collect and from where across your supply chain
  • What the technical file must contain and who is responsible for compiling it

Session 2: Running conformity assessments under PPWR

28 May 2026, 11:00 CEST

Once your data is in place, you need to assess it. This session walks through what a PPWR conformity assessment actually involves and how to structure the process.

  • How to assess your packaging data against PPWR's essential requirements
  • Which assessment routes apply and when third-party involvement is needed
  • Common gaps teams find during assessment and how to address them

Session 3: Drafting and maintaining Declarations of Conformity

4 June 2026, 11:00 CEST

The final session focuses on putting your compliance on paper and keeping it there. We cover how to create declarations of conformity and build a system to maintain them.

  • What a PPWR declaration of conformity must include and how to draft one
  • How to build a system to keep declarations current as packaging changes
  • Brief intro to EPR schemes work under PPWR and what producers are responsible for

Register once to access all three webinars. You'll receive calendar invites with joining links ahead of each session, and recordings and slides afterwards.
