EUDR Summer School session 3: How do you submit a defensible due diligence statement before December 30

Note: This webinar is based on the original CSRD and ESRS. Following the release of the Omnibus proposal on February 26, some information may no longer be accurate. We are currently reviewing and updating this webinar to reflect the latest regulatory developments. In the meantime, we recommend reading our Omnibus deep-dive for up-to-date insights on reporting requirements.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) deadline of 30 December 2026 is now months away. With two delays, a December 2025 revision and a May 2026 simplification package behind it, many compliance teams are still working out what their obligations actually look like in practice. To help cut through the complexity, Coolset's sustainability researchers are hosting four free, live 45-minute sessions this summer, walking through the core compliance steps one by one.

Session 3: From risk assessment to due diligence statement

Aug 6th, 11:00 CEST

With enforcement months away, this session focuses on the practical steps between now and the deadline, including a case study walkthrough from our research team.

  • What a complete due diligence statement looks like under the amended regulation and what it must include
  • Common bottlenecks including geolocation data, supplier gaps and statement timing, and how to resolve them before enforcement begins
  • How to structure your compliance program for the months ahead, and what to prioritize first
  • How downstream operators and small and micro primary operators fit into the timeline, given their different deadlines
