ESRS

ESRS stands for European Sustainability Reporting Standards. They set the detailed sustainability disclosure requirements under the CSRD. In 2025, EFRAG published an amended / simplified draft ESRS in response to the European Commission’s Omnibus simplification initiative, aiming to reduce reporting burden and complexity while keeping the core CSRD reporting objectives.
